HTML / CSS
Front end website code needs to be lean and search engine friendly and separating layout, content and behaviour in the code is a key method to achieve this. In the web templates that I develop I use the HTML / CSS coding technique to separate content from layout which allows search engines to concentrate on the content whilst ensuring the browser can correctly render the layout.
When developing HTML / CSS templates, web design agencies and web designers usually provide me with Photoshop Design files (PSDs) from which I slice graphics and construct the templates.
Cross browser testing is an important aspect of HTML / CSS development work and the templates I develop are tested in a number of different browsers, such as:
- Internet Explorer 7
- Internet Explorer 8
- Firefox
- Safari
- Google Chrome
I still test with Internet Explorer 6 when asked to, though this seems to becoming less of a requirement these days as the usage of this outdated browser continues to drop.
I am happy to do cross browser testing with other browsers such as Opera as requested.
So if you have an XHTML / CSS template that needs developing, then why not contact me.
